Prof. Dr. Umut Yavuz, İstanbul ili Kadıköy ilçesindeki Acıbadem Kadıköy (Dr. Şinasi Can) Hastanesi bünyesinde görev yapan bir ortopedi ve travmatoloji uzmanıdır. Tıp eğitimini 2001 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi bünyesinde tamamlamıştır. Uzmanlık eğitimini 2008 yılında İstanbul Göztepe Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji bünyesinde tamamlamıştır. Profesör akademik unvanına sahiptir. Kayıtta belirtilen başlıca ilgi alanları Kalça ve Diz Protezi Cerrahisi, Ayak ve Ayak Bileği Cerrahisi, Diyabetik ve Charcot Ayak Cerrahisi, Travma ve Deformite Cerrahisi başlıklarıdır.
